Rising majestically over the cityscape, the Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge stands as an iconic landmark of Hyderabad, representing the pride of Telangana. This architectural marvel, located in close proximity to the Inorbit Mall, serves as a crucial link connecting the bustling Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills to the thriving Financial District.

As Hyderabad witnessed a rapid surge in the number of vehicles on its roads, the once swift journey from Jubilee Hills to Madhapur, which typically took just 30 minutes, gradually transformed into a frustrating 40-60 minute ordeal. The Telangana government then proposed the construction of this remarkable bridge, spanning the serene Durgam Cheruvu, with a visionary goal in mind – to restore convenience and efficiency to the daily commute, reducing travel time to a mere 10 minutes.

The grand inauguration of this iconic bridge was done by State Minister K. T. Rama Rao and Cabinet Minister G. Kishan Reddy on the 25th of September 2020. Since then, the bridge has been not just a symbol of architectural excellence but has also eased the lives of Hyderabadis, exemplifying the city’s commitment to progress and innovation.
